Job Title: AVP Finance – Accounting & Tax Preparation
Job Profile & Responsibilities:
• Should be a results-driven professional with adequate experience in Finance, Payroll, and Accounts & Taxation of US & Australia. Having experience in Canadian & UK accounts & Taxation is added advantage.
• Should have good knowledge and experience with Quick Books (Online and Desktop), XERO, Myob, ADP and Taxation software of Drake, Lacerate, TurboTax and, Peachtree, Pro Series Software, Lacerate, Ultra Tax etc.
• Should possess a thorough understanding and significant experience with Accounting, Payroll & Taxation and is able to manage delivery to clients and supervise resources for the following tasks:
General Accounting ,Account Payable, Account Receivable, Bank and other Reconciliation, Financial Reporting Inter-Company Reconciliations etc.
Year End Accounting & Closing Books for Tax Preparation
Should be able to manage Complex Accounting issues and Revenue Recognition of clients as per US GAAP and IFRS and be capable of providing guidance to clients for financial decisions and teams regarding GAAP and process improvements.
Employee Register maintenance, Payroll Record keeping, Payroll Register maintenance, Overtime Register maintenance.
Processing of FICA Taxes (Form 941),Processing of FUTA Taxes (Form 940), Processing of FITW withholdings (Form 941), Processing of W-2 and W-3, Processing of state unemployment insurance (SUI).
Processing of form 1099, 1099 MISC, 1099 DIV, 1099 PATR, 1099 INT, 1099-R
Individual Tax Returns (1040) & Property tax returns
Business or Corporate tax returns, C- Corporation (1120), S-Corporation (1120S), Partnership (1065)
Notice handling of Federal & State Taxes, Workmen compensation audit, Other Audit Notice
Tax Planning for Individuals and Corporations
Able to prepare audit reports for clients on periodic basis and helping clients to share information to their external auditors and tax accountants.
Able to provide audit of books before the Statutory Audit of clients to make sure all the Financial Statement Line Items have correct balance and schedules reconciling to the books of accounts.
Ensure Financial Statement Line Items are recorded as per US GAAP and IFRS.
Provide revenue analysis and support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis for the clients,
Prepare special financial, reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends including client specific Management Reports and Board Packages for Investors meetings.
Able to prepare forecasting Monthly Cash Flow and cash management through regular monitoring of cash inflow and outflow.
Analysing variances for Actual Vs Budget/Forecast and providing reasons for Variances to senior management and executives with the analysis and information.
Should have ability to create processes and plans for the team working under him to ensure timely and effective delivery.
The candidate should also be able to monitor progress, train new team members, and create detailed procedures, flowcharts, and a measurement framework to ensure smooth process of delivery.
Should be able to ensure effective communication with clients & manage accounts besides having strong interpersonal and analytical abilities.
Should be able to ensure smooth On-boarding and off-boarding of clients.
Minimum Qualification Requirements: Post Graduate (preference to CA/Inter CA/MBA Finance)
Minimum Experience: 5+ Year Experience in Finance, Accounts & Taxation of US & Australia. Having experience in Canadian & UK accounts & Taxation is added advantage.
Salary: Salary is no bar and it shall be as per experience, skills & proficiency of candidate.
Working Days: 5 days a week
